The Story

Hi, my name is Roshane, and I’m the founder of Likklefarm. In 2021, I took a career break from my full-time job as a web developer. During that time, I stumbled upon a gardening video on YouTube and was inspired to start my own small home garden, a hobby I wish I had picked up sooner.

I quickly fell in love with gardening and all the benefits it brings. The daily exercise, the satisfaction of learning and watching how plants grow, and the joy of having access to fresh veggies. Not to mention the connection with nature, personal growth through patience and discipline, and the positive impact on my mental health.

After eight months of gardening and extensive research, I recognized a need for a centralized source of information and knowledge about gardening and farming. That’s when the idea for Likklefarm was born. Our platform is designed to be the go-to resource for anyone interested in gardening and farming, helping them avoid some of the mistakes I made when I started. Likklefarm also provides a marketplace for farmers to showcase and sell their products.
